I’ve had an “Amazon Kitchen Staples” post on my to-do list for weeks now! I am constantly getting questions about my appliances (my blender/juicer), my favorite kid items (sippy cups and lunch boxes), and my favorite foods/supplements (protein powder, collagen peptides, etc.). Well my friends, I am here to deliver!
Just hover over anything you’re curious about below to see the price and to shop. I’ve also included a quick recap of everything below!
*Smoothie straws: I drink a smoothie almost every day. Something about drinking them out of a fancy straw makes it taste better 🙂 I love these because they’re reusable, extra wide for thick smoothies, BPA free, and come with two cleaning brushes.
*Vital Proteins collagen peptides: I put a scoop of these in my smoothie every day! They’re amazing for your hair, skin and nails and have zero taste.
*Rubber bibs: I love these because they have a little lip to catch your baby’s food, and are also dishwasher safe! Plus how cute are they?!
*Kid’s Bentgo lunch boxes: These are so much easier for me than stuffing multiple items into ziploc bags every morning for my kid’s lunches that I have to pack for them for school. Just clean at the end of the day and reuse for tomorrow!
*My label maker: This label maker is legit you guys. It’s so easy to use! I have no idea why I waited until I was in my late twenties to purchase one of these but I get SO much use out of it.
*Nooma: These Ohio-based electrolyte drinks are so yummy and refreshing. I discovered them at my yoga studio and have been hooked ever since! My favorite flavor is the mint chocolate. If you sweat a lot during your workouts and want an extra boost of hydration, check them out!
*My big hot pink hydroflask and hot pink lid: I carry around my big hydroflask with me everywhere I go. I try to make it a goal to drink four of them a day, which is a gallon! I love the straw lids– something about it having a straw makes it easier for me to drink it, versus having to unscrew a regular lid every time I want a drink.
*Benji’s sippy cups: These worked really well for us when we were first transitioning from a bottle! They’ve become a staple for milk, water, etc.
*Nut pods: These dairy-free creamers are great! Around the holidays they release special edition flavors like peppermint mocha and pumpkin spice. They’re great if you try to stay away from super sugary, dairy-based coffee creamer (and Whole30 approved)!
*Nut milk bag: You guys have probably seen me make homemade cashew and almond milk on my stories from time to time. I love to homemake it because then I don’t have to worry about all the added crap that’s typically in your store-bought kind. This is the “nut milk bag” that I use to strain all the “pulp” out of it after blending!
*Yeti coffee mug: …because otherwise I end up microwaving my coffee 5 times every morning. #momlife
*Breville juicer: I try to make fresh juice a few times a week. I think it’s so refreshing, it’s packed with nutrients and is a great way to detox/reset, and is also a great way to use up any produce that is on the verge of going bad. This juicer is LEGIT. You can throw entire apples, lemons, etc. right into it!
*RXBars: You guys know I’m obsessed with these. A lot of the “protein bars” on shelves are packed with SO many ingredients you can’t pronounce. These are made with REAL food and are delicious. I keep one in my purse at all times. And they even make mini ones for kids!
*Protein powder: I use the Vega Protein and Greens in my smoothies every day. It’s a plant-based protein that’s packed with greens and tastes delicious. The vanilla mixed with some almond butter is AMAZE. I alternate between the vanilla and chocolate flavor!
*Trash can: Okay I realize this is dorky but I love our trash can 🙂 Peter got it for me for Christmas and I was so excited about it, haha. It’s so pretty! It’s also very functional: it has two sides for your trash/recycling, and a little compartment on the back to hold your trash bags.
*Glass canisters: I keep three of these out on our kitchen counter and they hold oatmeal, sugar and flour. I think they look really nice, and it makes it easy to have these ingredients readily accessible!
*Primal Kitchen goods: I use the salad dressings (the honey mustard is my jam) and avocado mayo constantly, and always have them stocked in our fridge. Real ingredients, delicious taste. Lately I’ve been using the regular mayo for a healthier chicken salad:
- Rotisserie chicken
- 1/2 tbs Primal Kitchen mayo
- Chopped celery
- Chopped walnuts
- Dried cherries or cranberries
- Fresh ground black pepper
- Optional: apple or purple grapes
*Four Sigmatic hot cocoa: This cocoa is sweetened naturally with Stevia (win) and is a sweet, comforting treat that I love to have at night to wind down. Plus, it’s packed with tons of nutrients (made from mushrooms)!
*Instant Pot: I’m sure you’ve all heard about how amazing Instant Pots are. I am here to tell you, it’s all true. It’s such a quick and easy way to make basically anything! If you search Instant Pot recipes on Pinterest, there are a WEALTH of them out there! It’s totally worth the money.
*Inulin powder: I add two scoops of this to my smoothies. It’s basically just pure organic fiber made from plants and helps keep you regular, and also full.
*Zevia: These all-natural sodas are ADDICTING. If you’re someone that loves a sweet soda from time-to-time, but hates how soda is basically a chemical shit storm (as my sister Katie would say), you must try these! They’re sweetened naturally and have no added color (every flavor is clear). My favorite flavors are the orange and grape. Definitely a must-try!
*Le Creuset dutch oven: These babies are definitely a splurge. Cooking with cast iron is great for soups/stews, meats…basically anything that needs to retain heat for long periods of time. You can also put them in the oven which is super convenient.
*Dyson cordless vacuum: If you have kids (or a husband…wink wink) that are constantly dropping crumbs, or animals that shed, you need this thing in your life. SERIOUSLY.
*Justin’s almond butter packets: I love to have these on-hand when I’m on the go, or need to pack something sweet and healthy for lunch. The price is actually really good on Amazon! The maple and vanilla almond butters are my favorite.
*Herb mincer: This thing is life-changing. I hate chopping herbs! Especially the more fine ones like Cilantro. This thing makes it so that you can just run the blades over the herbs a few times and it’s done.
*Our blender: I don’t think we’ve ever gotten better use out of an appliance. Or maybe out of a purchase in general 🙂 This thing gets used every. single. day… whether it’s to make smoothies, bulletproof coffee, nut milk, salad dressings, etc. It’s seriously such an amazing blender, and I’ve owned like 20! I love how it comes with to-go cups so that if you’re on the go, you can just blend up your smoothie and grab it without having to deal with another cup.
